Well, I’m afraid that the coronavirus pandemic has thrown things into confusion here. Mainly because my computer has gone down and, as we are in lockdown here in Waresley as elsewhere, I can’t get it to anyone to fix. I am therefore typing this on my iPhone. So please excuse any mistakes.
Well, it would be nice to be able to read headlines such as “Coronavirus Cure Found” but that seems unlikely as it is a virus and modern science has not yet been able to find a cure for viral diseases. They can control virus replication so that AIDS sufferers can lead a reasonably normal life but there is no cure. So it is with CoViD-19.
As far as I am aware there is no one in Waresley that has contracted the disease yet although there were early rumours of someone with symptoms.
I am well as are all my neighbours. However shopping on line is impossible for all but a few – those who on on the government list – so we have to brave the shops. Gardening and dog walking are the life enhancing activities at the moment!
