A date which needs to go in your diary…..
Saturday 26th August is the Waresley Grand Fete.
This is being organised by all the associations in the village and is sponsored by Waresley Park Garden Centre, who are very kindly letting the event take place on their premises. This means that there will be plenty of off-street parking and good toilet facilities, as well as their excellent Café. More information will be posted later but expect all the usual village fete things like Tug-of-War, Apple Bobbing, Bat-The-Rat etc., as well as lots of games specially for the children, a BBQ and so forth; and may be Dwyle Flonking as well. Don’t forget that the Garden Centre has a Licence for the Café, so there will be beer and wine available as well as tea & coffee etc.
