The Chairman of the Village Hall Trustees has asked me to publish the following:
WARESLEY VILLAGE HALL – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 2020 Annual General Meeting of Waresley Village Hall will be held at 8pm on Wednesday 29th July. This meeting was postponed from May owing to COVID-19 restrictions.
At this meeting the current Chairman will present their Annual Report and the current Treasurer will present the Annual Accounts.
The current Trustees and Officers of the Trust which owns and operates the Village Hall will retire at this meeting and a new set will be elected. I am pleased to tell you that all but one of current Trustees and Officers are standing for re-election but the Trust would welcome other villagers either to stand for election or to volunteer as helpers as the Hall is always in need of extra hands.
This is YOUR Village Hall and is a significant community asset. To ensure its continued success the residents of Waresley need to support the Trustees in any way they can, so please attend this meeting if possible.
This will be a virtual meeting held via Zoom. The meeting is open to the public and we would encourage everyone to join in. Please contact Imogen Blundell by email on imogen_blundell@yahoo.co.uk who will supply you with access details.
